Taiwan Avenue i Crazy Taichung Cheng-Kuang cheers for the players

"Taichung Avenue! Good morning!" The second edition of the "2013 i Love Taichung" Taichung Avenue Road Race kicked off on the morning of the 11th at the Taichung Port Passenger Service Center. Cheng Kuang Pharmaceuticals, adhering to the concept of giving back to the local community and promoting healthy activities for the public, sponsored the event for the second consecutive year.

The opening ceremony was attended by Taichung Mayor Hu Zhiqiang, artists Guo Ziqian and Xiao You, attracting a large number of fans for photos. Mayor Hu Zhiqiang mentioned that the road race passes through the districts of Qing Shui, Sha Lu, Long Jing, and Wu Qi. After the completion of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) next year, traffic control will become more challenging. However, if the Civil Affairs Bureau of Taichung City can find suitable routes, they still hope to continue hosting the event.

There are two routes in total: the "Healthy Brave Feet Group" with a total of 21 kilometers, and the "Leisure and Active Group" with 6 kilometers. This year, they introduced the "Love Without Barriers Group," inviting friends with disabilities to participate in the race. They were led by ultra-marathon mom Qiu Shurong, guiding those with crutches or wheelchairs to start.

Most members of the Brave Feet Group persist in completing the entire course, and many families participate in the Active Group. Artist Guo Ziqian also participated in the 6-kilometer race on site, enjoying the event with the public.

Zhengguang Pharmaceutical once again sponsored the Taiwan Road Runner in 2013.
