Cheng-Kuang and LAVA Beautiful Kenting Marathon

Advocate sports for all, promote jogging and long-distance running, and develop the marathon spirit of physical strength, endurance and perseverance. Through this event, the wilderness style of Kenting National Park is fully presented, and it is used to attract tourists and combine sports, leisure and sightseeing to achieve the purpose of sustainable management and development.

Pioneer Road Race and Resort Fusion

The starting and finishing points of the event will be held at the "Kenting Fullon Hotel." Fullon Hotel will offer runners more preferential room rates, allowing athletes and their families to avoid the hassle of commuting. On the day of the race, you can simply walk downstairs in your running gear and start the race. After completing the race, take a leisurely stroll back upstairs for a shower, change into dry clothes, and then enjoy a wonderful afternoon in Kenting with your family and friends. This will be a perfect combination of running and tourism, a family-friendly racing and leisure plan. Come join with your loved ones and friends!

The full marathon route will undergo some adjustments, incorporating the breathtaking 'Jiale Water Scenic Area' with its extraordinary rock formations into the marathon course. As a result, in the 2015 marathon route, you will pass through Kenting Street, with lush greenery on both sides leading up to She Ding Park. You'll have a distant view of the distinctive boat-shaped rock-themed lodges, run through the vast and refreshing Lóngzǎi Pǔ Grassland, and experience the extraordinary rock formations of Jiale Water. In 2015, the Kenting Marathon will take you from mountains to the sea! Additionally, a new 12-kilometer race will be added in 2015, providing more options for participants with different abilities.

We have a dream in our hearts ~ I gently arrive at Kenting Beach, happily leave without leaving a trace of litter ~ This dream requires everyone to work together to achieve! Therefore, we will be giving runners an environmentally friendly water bottle with the authorized IRONMAN Taiwan logo at the event venue. There will be no paper/plastic cups at the supply stations along the way, so let's leave Kenting as a beautiful memory, not a littered ground.
