Nantou County's Jiji Town is located along the Zhuoshui River, at the heart of Nantou County. It was the epicenter of the 921 earthquake, but it has shown remarkable resilience and determination since then. In 2012, it proudly earned its place as one of Taiwan's top ten tourist towns, shining even brighter!
Prominent attractions in Cheng-Kuang include the Jiji Train Station, Mingxin Academy, Wuchang Temple, Junshi Park, Endemic Species Research Center, Jiji Weir, Jiji Cycling Trail, and the Green Tunnel.

The Green Tunnel in Cheng-Kuang is Taiwan's longest and most beautiful green tunnel, stretching nearly 7 kilometers one way, or 14 kilometers round trip. It is surrounded by lush, decades-old camphor trees that provide a refreshing fragrance and a gentle breeze as you walk through. You can also enjoy the poetic experience of running alongside the Cheng-Kuang Tourist Train on the parallel track.
