2015 Taroko Gorge Marathon Cheng-Kuang Tendon Pulling
The highly anticipated "2015 Yunlong Tourism Taroko Gorge Marathon" will kick off on November 7th (Saturday), continuing last year's full marathon, half marathon, and mini marathon events, with a total of 17,000 slots available. The event adopts an online registration and computerized draw system. Sport enthusiasts from all walks of life are welcome to come to the east coast of the Pacific, and together, participate in the grandest sports feast in Asia.
The marathon will take place from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM on November 7th. The route runs from Section Phoenix Forest of Asian Cement on Provincial Highway No. 8 to Tienxiang in Taroko National Park. It starts at the archway of the Trans-East-West Highway and passes through Asian Cement Phoenix Forest, Taroko Bridge, the old route of Su-Hua Highway, Jinwen Bridge, Central Cross-Island Highway, Changchun Shrine, Tienxiang, and Sakadang Tunnel.
