Daiyu International Marathon
The 3rd Dai Yu Taichung International Marathon held in 2015 kicked off on the morning of November 22 in front of the Taichung City Hall square.
Over 13,000 participants from both domestic and international locations gathered to take on this brand-new route.
The race passed by the new city hall building, the iconic red arched Rainbow Bridge, and the National Taichung Theater, incorporating local culture, heritage, and scenic views of Taichung.
This event aimed to create the only internationally certified marathon in Taichung.
In order to encourage more participants in international races, Dai Yu collaborated with Cheng-Kuang, offering the "Cheng-Kuang High-Quality Pain Relief Kit" to the top three finishers in each category of the full marathon. This not only serves as a reward for the runners, but also provides immediate relief for any post-marathon soreness, aiding in the recovery process.
