2017 2nd Ultra Off-road Yilan
Planning a track that combines off-road and leisure activities, the track routes include a 50-kilometer Extreme Off-road Group, a 24-kilometer Swift Hiking Group, and a 7-kilometer Family Fun Group. Whether you're a runner looking to challenge yourself or a family looking to experience the joys of hiking in the mountains and forests, you're all welcome to participate.
On October 15, 2017 (Sunday) at the Wulaokeng Scenic Area in Su'ao Township, Yilan County, the main venue extends from the Wulaokeng Mountain Area in Su'ao Town to Dongshan Township. The entire route primarily consists of forest roads, with wide paths allowing runners to run freely. Running on the ridgeline offers an excellent view, with magnificent scenery, but also requires crossing rugged mountains and ridges.
In collaboration with Cheng-Kuang, the event has established many safety retreat points along the way, providing supplies, Cheng-Kuang spray, and rescue services, allowing runners to enjoy the variations in the track with peace of mind.
This year, the event incorporates the theme of "Leisure Off-road", allowing participants to explore the pristine beauty of Yilan with their families or friends, freely wandering through nature!
